Jeremiah Kingbird, Jr.

Jeremiah Kingbird, Jr., “Manidoowinini” which means “Spirit man” age 2, of Ponemah, MN, began his spiritual journey on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.  He was born to Jeremiah and Gennie Kingbird, Sr.  He was a happy baby and will be missed by all who knew him, especially his family.

The family that Jeremiah joins again includes his mother, Gennie Kingbird; grandfather, Harold Kingbird, Sr.; grandmother, Bernice Kingbird; and great-grandparents, Jack and Lucille Kingbird and John and Julia Kingbird; as well as many other relatives.

Those Jeremiah leaves behind to cherish his memory are his sister, Miyah Kingbird; brothers, Clarence Patterson, Jr., Damon Patterson, and Ethan Kingbird; father, Jeremiah Kingbird, Sr.; grandfather, Alfred Kingbird, Sr.; grandmother Sharon Kingbird; uncles, Lonnie (Bobbi Jo) Kingbird and Harold (Darchelle) Kingbird, Jr., both of Redby, MN; T’Jay Kingbird, Tobie (Colette) Kingbird, Alfred Kingbird, Jr., and Patrick Kingbird all of Ponemah, MN; and Shane Stillday of Fargo, ND; and aunts, Shanna and Leah Kingbird, both of Ponemah, MN.

The wake for Jeremiah will begin at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at the Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah, MN, to be followed by the traditional service at 11:00 am on Monday, August 5, 2019.  Spiritual adviser will be Alan Hardy.  Burial will be on Monday, August 5, 2019, at the Kingbird Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah, MN.  Pall bearers will be Jeremiah’s siblings, Miyah Kingbird, Clarence Patterson, Jr., Damon Patterson, and Ethan Kingbird and the honorary pall bearers will be all his family and friends in attendance.
