Jeri Lynn Reese, age 59, of Onigum, MN began her spiritual journey on July 1, 2026, at her home in Onigum. She was born in Minneapolis on January 1, 1967, the daughter of George David Santerno and Elizabeth Margaret Reese.
Jeri was a person who loved smoking, enjoying her THC and Gummies. She had a unique loud voice and beautiful green eyes. Jeri would spend hours just looking out the window taking in the views of the lake. She was a funny lady who had nicknames for her entire family. Jeri got along with everyone she met, and she stayed connected to her family and kept in touch with them. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
The family that Jeri joins again are her parents, George and Elizabeth; daughter, Frances E. Reese; sisters, Georgia S. Santerno, Lori Gellings and Vikki Reese, many more family and friends greeting her at the door.
Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Faith Reese; brothers, Gordon Reese and Joseph Yellow, Sr.; sister, Sena Reese; special friend, Harry “Bro” Chase; niece, Alicia Herrera; grandchildren, Pernell Reese, Trishell Gustafson-Reese, Talise Gustafson-Reese, Aurelio Adan, Rosendo Calixto, Ramondo Adan, and Grant Gustafson, II. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A wake service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2026, and will continue until the 10:00 a.m. service on Monday, July 6,2026,6 all held at the Onigum Community Center. Pastor William Butcher will officiate. Pallbearers for Jerri will be Archie Yellow, Dennis Yellow, Joseph Yellow, Jr., Jay Nordmarken, Aurelio Adan and Ramondo Adan. Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Yellow, Sr., Jessie Gellings, Harry Chase, Gordon Yellow, Gordon Reese, Verdell Yellow, George Yellow and Pernell Reese. Interment will be held in the Old Agency Catholic Cemetery in Old Agency
