Jerri Lynn Huston (Thomsen)

Born in Eau Gallie, Florida on June 27, 1962, Jerri Lynn Huston passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, at her home in Walker, Minnesota.

 With her family by her side and the peaceful sight of the birds outside her window, Jerri left this world exactly as she wished, surrounded by love in the home she made so warm and welcoming.

 Jerri was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Huston, who remained steadfastly by her side; her sons, Chris (Carrie) and Ryan (Colette); her granddaughter, Raymie; her father, Jim Thomsen (Gloria); her brother, Spike Thomsen (Gina); her sister, Lisa Moon (Jeff); her nieces, Kellie, Lexie, Leann, Megan, and Jess; and her nephews, Shaun and Adam. She was preceded in death by her mother, Becky Thomsen and her niece, Katie Huston.

Jerri found her greatest joy in the simple, beautiful moments of life. She loved fishing for panfish, camping under the stars, and sitting by a quiet campfire. She was also passionate about cooking, crocheting, and reading. Above all, she cherished her family, and nothing brought her greater happiness than raising her children and becoming a grandmother. The bond she shared with her granddaughter Raymie was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Calvary Church, 5925 Oberly Loop NW, Walker, MN 56484. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM (CST), with services starting at 2:00 PM (CST).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jerri’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Jerri’s kindness, love, and unwavering presence in the lives of those she touched will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
