Joanne Victoria (Lillibridge) Johnson

Joanne Victoria (Lillibridge) Johnson died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on May 17, 2018 in Hackensack, MN. She was 80.

Joanne was born on March 7, 1938 to Emerson and Minnie Lillibridge. She graduated from Mounds View High School in 1956. Joanne married Bob Johnson on June 1, 1957 and later moved to the Northland where they owned and operated Johnson Masonry and Johnson Lindenberg and Associates Realty. Joanne and Bob set an example of love and commitment in their 60 years of marriage.

Joanne had a deep love for the Lord and received him as her savior at five years of age. She was actively involved in the church. She was blessed with a gift and passion for music. Joanne could often be found at a piano, gracefully playing a hymn at a service or in her home. She shared the love of Jesus, participating in local and global mission projects. Joanne had a delightful sense of humor and laugh that will be missed.

Joanne is survived by her husband, Bob Johnson; her sons, Scott (Karen) Johnson; Ted (Deanna) Johnson; Andrew (Pam) Johnson; her sister, Corinne (Richard) Johnson; six grandchildren, Bobby, Nicole, Courtney, Jessica, Van, Callihan; and three great-grandchildren; Andre, Paisley, Wesley. She is preceded in death by her brother, Emerson Lillibridge.

A funeral service for Joanne will take place at Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Walker, MN on Monday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to her service.  Pastor Andrew Johnson and Dr. Al Hendrickson will officiate.  Pallbearers for Joanne will be Van Johnson, Nicole Giles, Courtney Mantell, Jessica Johnson, Jeremy Mantell, Jason Giles and Cody Fandel.  Her honorary pallbearers are Bob Johnson and Callihan Johnson.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Joanne’s life.  Inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Backus, MN at a later date.
