Joesph "Joe" William Schrank

Joseph "Joe" Schrank, born on December 4, 1961, in Billings, Montana, to Mike and Diane Schrank, passed away after a long battle with heart-related health issues on March 18, 2025.

Joe proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After his military service, Joe devoted much of his time to caring for his parents until their passing and maintaining the family home on Leech Lake. Over the years, Joe loved to fish, hunt, and swim with the family labs, Shadow, Roc-E, and Zeus.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents.

Joe is survived by his sister, Susan Schrank Gross (Matthew) of Newark, DE; brother, Mike Schrank (Bonnie) of Eden Prairie, MN; lovingly remembered by his niece, Katie Rawerts (Dan); nephew, Paul Schrank (Kayla); nephew Jordan Gross; niece, Samantha Gross Valdez; along with his great-niece, Dakota; great-nephews, Ryan, Henry, and Grayson; and many dear friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held this summer at the family's cherished lake home of 65 years on Steamboat Bay.

Most of all, he was our brother, and we will miss him. Mike and Susan.
