Joseph Anthony West

Baby Joseph Anthony West, 39 weeks gestation, of Bena, Minnesota was welcomed to the spirit world on Thursday, May 26th, 2022 from the Sanford Hospital in Bemidji, MN.  His parents are Adina Headbird and Joseph K. West, Jr.

Baby Joseph will be cared for by his grandpa, Aaron Wind, Sr.; uncle, Leslie Headbird; and great grandparents, Clarence Day, Sr., Dean and Gloria Wind.

Those who will miss the chance to know him are his parents, Adina Headbird and Joseph West, Jr.; grandparents, Amanda Littlewolf, Roberta West and Joseph K. West, Sr.; great grandma, Cheryl Littlewolf; aunties, Trina and Carlina Headbird, Aaliyah and Anna Wind, Raven Roybal and Tierra Taylor; uncles, Aaron Wind, Jr., Allen Wind, Tony, Danny, Jayson and Jimmy West, numerous cousins and many other relatives.

An overnight wake for Baby Joseph will begin at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2nd and continue until his 11:00 a.m. traditional service on Friday, June 3rd all to be held at the Mission Community Center in Cass Lake, MN.  Pallbearers for Baby Joseph are Allen Wind, Clarence Day, Jr., Xander Day and Ronin Cloud.  His honorary pallbearers are Amanda Littlewolf, Trina Headbird, Carlina Headbird, Aaliyah Wind, Anna Wind, Nikki Day and Cheryl Littlewolf.  Interment will be in Prince of Peace Cemetery at Cass Lake, MN immediately following his Friday service.
