Juanita Claire Finn

Juanita Claire Finn, age 73, of Cass Lake, Minnesota went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 15th, 2021 from her home with her family by her side.  She was born to Elverna (Munnell) and Harold “Haley” Finn Sr. on September 11th, 1947 in Cass Lake, MN.

Juanita was a simple woman with a heart of gold.  She loved helping anyone in need.  Juanita enjoyed reading western books, watching lifetime movies and going to garage sales.  She loved country music and listening to Harry play guitar back in the day.  Over the years, Juanita enjoyed the companionship and spoiled her 11 furry friends, calling them family and sometimes joked that she loved them more than she loved her family.  When she had no one to cook for she cooked for her dogs.  Those who knew Juanita, knew that her passion was her family and that her favorite thing to do was playing with her grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed by all of them and the rest of her family and friends.

Family that Juanita is reunited with are her daughter; Elverna Morris, parents; Elverna and Haley Finn, Sr., brothers; Harold Jr., Kevin, and Michael Finn, Jake and Pat Munnell, sister; Holly Finn, granddaughter; Leann Harding, grandson; Michael Morris and grandma; Olga Finn.

She leaves behind her son; Tony Morris of Bemidji, daughter; Davine Morris of Cass Lake, brothers; Randy, Patrick, Jerry, Robbie, Mick and Kirby Finn all of Cass Lake, sisters; Jewell Finn of Cass Lake and Debra Suchon of WI, special granddaughter and caretaker for the past two years; Natasha Morris, her other grandchildren; Krissy, Aaron, Dynell, Tonya, Jasmine, Natasha, Jerrica, Courtney, and Deahna Van Oss, and Brittany Weinand and many great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass for Juanita will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23rd, 2021 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Cass Lake, MN.  Urnbearers will be Natasha Morris, Courtney Morris, Davine Morris and Kristine Morris.  Her honorary Urnbearers are all her grandchildren, Tony Morris, Harry Morris, Aaron Morris, Randy Finn, Michael Schmidt, Pat Finn, Jerry Finn and Debra Finn.  At Juanita’s request, her cremated remains will be cared for and cherished by her family.
