Keveon Gene Sayers

Keveon Gene Sayers, age 23, of Red Lake, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, from his home in Redby, MN.

He was born the son of Eugene Sayers III and Lanae Pearson on June 24th, 1998, in Bemidji, MN.  Keveon lived most of his life in Little Rock and attended Red Lake High School with his brothers and friends.  He loved to listen to music, play video games at home, going to the casino, playing cards and barbequing.  He enjoyed playing sports, but he especially liked to play basketball.  Keveon was kind and loving, very helpful and enjoyed being with his family.  He was always happy and positive with whatever he was doing.  Keveon loved to laugh, being outdoors and spending time at home.

Keveon is welcomed to the spirit world by his father, Eugene Sayers III; grandmother, Shari Pearson; grandfather, Eugene Sayers, Jr.; nephew, King Stillday, cousin, Ryan Pearson, and several other relatives.

He leaves behind his mother, Lanae Pearson; sister, Autumn Stillday; brothers, Eugene Sayers IIII, Zachary Sayers, and Devon Sayers; aunties, LeAnn Pearson, Alecia Pemberton, Lisa and Ramona Sayers; uncle, Junior Pemberton; grandparents, Esther Moore and Wendell Pemberton, Sr., nephews, Anuel Blackbull and Grayson Stillday; niece, Avaiah Head Stillday; cousins, Tayzha Blackbull and Justine Perberton-Sagetaw, many other cousins and numerous relatives.

The wake for Keveon will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14th and continue until his 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Thursday, June 16th all being held at the Redby Community Center in Redby, MN.  Pallbearers for Keveon will be Brandon Sayers, Marcus Fastwolf, Reggie Lussier, Kavion Turner, Sabino Florez and Jessie Terry.  His honorary pallbearers are Autumn, Joe, Zach, and Devon.
