Lindsy "Lynz" Wilson Obituary

Lindsy “Lynz” Elaine Wilson, 44 years old, resident of Ball Club (across the river), Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world from St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020.  She was born in Deer River, MN on May 30, 1976 to Edith Wilson and Aldon “Auddie” Connor.

In her free time, Lynz loved reading, cooking, watching scary movies with her youngest son Connor, sitting outside with her children and family.  But Lindsy mostly loved spending time with the love of her life Mike.  Theirs was a true love story, high school sweethearts, going on 27 years.  They would take long drives in the woods and on the backroads and camp, anything, as long as they were together.  Lynz has a passion for arts and crafts, decorating and baking for the holidays, at both her home and in her classroom.  Lindsy worked for Leech Lake Early Childhood at the Ball Club Headstart for nine years.  She loved all children, caring for them and teaching them.  She was so looking forward to returning to work at the end of the summer.  Lindsy and Mike were foster parents before Michaela and Connor came along.  The love she gave resonated in all she met and all she gave.  Lindsy’s smile and laugh will be missed by all who knew her.

Family that welcome her to the spirit world are her grandparents, George and Margaret Wilson; and her brother Wayne Keezer.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her love and best friend, Michael Tibbetts, Sr.; children, Michael Jr., Nicholas, James, Michaela and Connor; sisters, Robyn and Danielle Keezer; aunt, Pam (John) Thompson; uncle, Jeff (Peggy) Wilson, numerous other relatives and too many friends to list.

An overnight wake for Lindsy will begin at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 6th and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Wednesday, October 7th all to be held at the Ball Club Community Center in Ball Club, MN.  Waa-maajaa’iwed is Steve Jackson.  Music by Nuthill.  Pallbearers for Lindsy will be Evan Tibbetts, Kelly Newman, Chad Gotchie, Sr., Mark Jimenez, Andrew “Beaj” Gotchie, Jr. and Paul Wakanabo, Jr.  Her honorary pallbearers are all the Ball Club Headstart Staff.  Interment will be in the Townsite Cemetery at Ball Club immediately following her services.

Lindsy’s care has been entrusted to Northern Peace Funeral Home of Walker, MN.  Online condolences for the family may be left at www.northernpeace.com
