Lori Alice (Lussier) Lohnes

Lori Alice (Lussier) Lohnes, age 56, of Saint Cloud, Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world on Sunday, December 15th, 2019 from Saint Cloud, MN.  She was born on August 28th, 1963 in Red Lake, MN, the daughter of Adam and Doris (Johnson) Lussier.

Lori was born and raised in Red Lake, MN until she decided to make Minneapolis her home.  She met and married Leonard Lohnes and together they welcomed four beautiful children into the world.  Lori was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan all her life, watching every game that she could.  She looked forward to Sunday kickoff.  Lori enjoyed spending all her free time with her family and friends, she loved getting together to play cards and dominos.  Her family was very important to her, especially her children and all her grandchildren.  Lori’s free spirit showed in her cross-country travels with the “Road Dogs” Dino, J Rock, Jeannie, Henry and Poncho. Her presence at family gatherings will be forever missed and the memories made will never be forgotten.

Family that welcome her home are her parents, Adam and Doris (Johnson) Lussier; her beloved daughter, Angela Mae Lohnes; sisters, Elizabeth Lussier-Borning and Patty Lynn Johnson; brothers, Arlen Lussier, Richardo “Taco” Lussier, Greg “Gotcho” Johnson and James “Jim” Johnson; aunties, Dorothy Lussier, Leona Raisch and Alberta “Spike” Johnson; grandparents, Pat and Eliza Lussier; grandma, Ennis Johnson; grandpa, Albert Johnson and other relatives.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, James, Jessica and Mitchell Lohnes; sister, Kristie Lussier; brothers, Terry, Gerald (Linda) and Ronald (Theresa) Lussier; grandchildren, Aurora and Adriana Lohnes, Tristan and Monte Larson, Kerrington and Athena Lohnes-Anderson, Henry and Olivia Sicard; nieces, Tara, Jessica, Audrianna, Terri-Ann and Janelle Lussier and Alexis Smith; nephews, Terrance, Justin, Adam and Hunter Lussier, John and Jeremy Smith; special cousins, Charlotte and “Muggs” and her special friend of many years, James Rock.

Wake services for Lori will begin at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 21st and continue until her 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Monday, December 23rd all being held at the New Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake, MN.  Pastor Tom Pollock will officiate.  Lori’s honorary pallbearers are all her family, her special friends Don Wright, Terry McDevitt, Sasha Treadaway, Mary Brun, Margie Garcia, Shirley Lussier and Connie Berg and the “Road Dogs” - Dino, J Rock, Jeannie, Henry and Poncho.
