Margaret Rose (Stillday) Jarski, age 69 of Cloquet, Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world on Sunday, August 9th, 2020 from St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN, surrounded by her family. She was born in Red Lake, MN on October 17th, 1950 to Alvyna Mae (Burns) and Warren J. Stillday, Sr.
Margaret’s love of life encircled family, country and powwow music, playing cards, mandela art/coloring, puzzles, and puzzle books. She also adding to her native doll and canoe collections. Margaret enjoyed jingle dress dancing at the powwows and meeting new people, but her favorite thing to do was visiting with family and friends. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
Family that welcome Margaret to the spirit world are her late husband, Michael Jarski of Fond Du Lac; parents, Alvyna and Warren Stillday, Sr.; sisters, Patricia Stillday and Betty Cloud; brothers, Lawrence Sr., Alvin and Warren Stillday, Jr.; granddaughter, Susan Sky Neadeau; niece, Vanessa Rose Stillday; and nephews, Patrick Stillday, Sr. and Wallace Cloud, Jr. and special friend, Donald Iceman.
She leaves behind her children, Brian Stillday, Sr., Roxanne Stillday, Donna Stillday, Diane (Manuel Smith, Jr.) Stillday, Lynette Stillday, Rebecca Stillday, Donavon Stillday and Donald Stillday; sisters, Rose Marie Cloud and Althea Johnson; 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one on the way, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Wake services for Margaret will begin at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15th and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Monday, August 17th all being held at the Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah, MN. Pallbearers are Steve Rutledge, Michael Rutledge, Joseph Rutledge, Deven Stillday, James Cloud III, and Corey Whitefeather, Jr. Her honorary pallbearers are all her sisters and grandchildren. Interment will be in the Stillday Family Burial Grounds at Ponemah, MN.
