Maria Sautbine Obituary

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and the true glue of her family. Her life was built on love—freely given, deeply felt, and never withheld. To know her was to feel welcomed, accepted, and cherished just as you were.

As a mother, she led with patience and quiet strength, always placing her children’s needs before her own. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, she became the heart of generations—creating traditions, sharing wisdom, and wrapping everyone in the comfort of her presence. Her home was a gathering place, her voice a reassurance, and her love a constant that held the family together through every season of life.

She had a rare gift for making people feel seen and valued. Whether through a gentle word, a listening ear, or a simple act of kindness, she showed unconditional love to all she met. Her faith guided her life, and she lived it daily through compassion, forgiveness, and grace.

Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the love she gave so freely, and the countless memories that will be treasured forever. Her influence will continue to ripple through generations, reminding us that love is the strongest bond of all.

Those greeting “Bunny” are her parents Walter and Clara Lee, loving husband Melvin, mother and father-in-law Marshall and Alice Sautbine  Those left behind to cherish Bunny's memories are her sons; David Sautbine, Darren (Nancy) Sautbine, daughter Debbie Osborn, brothers; Butch (Cheryl) Lee, Chris (Joan) Lee, sisters; Ione Cardinal, and Kathy Wilde, eight grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
