Obituary

Michael S. Osburnsen, age 80, of Hackensack, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023, at home after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s. He was born on March 17, 1943, in Joliet, IL, the son of Norma (Kela) and Willard Osburnsen.

Michael was very passionate about waterskiing, going to auctions, and flea markets.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents; and sons, Shawn and Aaron Osburnsen.

Those Michael leaves behind to forever cherish his loving memory are his wife, Merrily; 10 children, Michael (Darcy), April, Peter (Celeste), Jesse (Fabiana), Seth, Simon (Jessica), Kim (Nick), Anna (Brandon), David, and Jared.

A private celebration of life for Michael will be held by his family.
