Michael Clem Roberts

Michael Clem Roberts, 56 Years old, began his spiritual journey Saturday morning, November 16, 2019 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.  He was born on April 4, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN the son of Floyd and Pearl (Bellanger) Roberts, Sr.  Mike had three brothers and four sisters, two sons, three granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews. He was born and raised in Minneapolis, where he attended school in the metro area.  He was a journeymen carpenter and had a passion for wrenching on cars. If anything was broke, he was the families “go to guy” to fix it.

Mike loved spending time with his boys and grand babies he was so proud of them because they were his pride and joys.  He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends, it was his priority throughout life, he touched so many lives over the years.  He was a big-hearted, respectful, humble, loving life and living it to the fullest kind of man who was always willing to help anyone out with whatever they needed.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting, camping with family at powwows, going to bingo and casino with family.

Family that welcome Mike to the spirit world are his parents, Floyd & Pearl Roberts, Sr.; brothers, Jeffrey and Benjamin Roberts; sister, Marilyn Roberts; nephews, Dennis Floyd Roberts, John Roberts and Alan Marlowe; niece, Nina Roberts; special brother, Albert “Aboo” Jones, many family and friends who passed before him.

Left to mourn his loss are his sons, Mikey and JR; granddaughters, Amira, Amara, and Bryanna Beaulieu; mother of his sons, Julie RedEagle; sisters, Jennie (Angel) Pasillas, Roxanne Roberts, and Roslynn Roberts; brother, Floyd Roberts, Jr; many special nephews and nieces, Joe & Kenny Roberts, Jenay, Selena, Arlana and Rena Pasillas, Jennie and Jeffrey Marlowe, Chiana, Chisa and Chiena Roberts, Benjamin Boswell-Roberts, Nicholas and Dennis Roberts, Nicole and Reginna Roberts; aunt, Alberta Roberts, as well as numerous great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives.

Wake services for Mike will begin at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 20th, 2019 and continue until his 11:30 a.m. funeral service on Friday, November 22nd all to be held at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN.  Father John Christianson will officiate.  Helping to lay Michael to rest are Mikey Roberts, JR GoodLeft, Mike Johnson, Joe Roberts, David Jourdain, Dwight Bellanger, Jr., Nicholas Roberts, and Benjamin Boswell-Roberts.  His honorary pallbearers are Amira, Amara, Bryanna and Ellie Beaulieu, Jennie, Angel, Arlana, Jenay, Selena and Rena Pasillas, Floyd Roberts, Jr., Jeannie and Kari Jones, Julie, Jim and Bob Red Eagle, Tom Johnson, Verdell Beaulieu, Gerald Auginash, Melvin and Celest Jourdain, Pat, Mary and Wanda Graves, Roxanne, Chiana, Chisa, and Chiena Roberts, Jerry Roberts, Steve Bellanger, Douglas Roberts, Norman Roberts and Tiny Bellanger. A private family inurnment will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Red Lake, Minnesota in the spring.
