Pearl Marie was born to Jennie (Riggs) Bellanger and Clem Bellanger on her sunrise day. Along her journey, she married Floyd Roberts, Sr. in 1958. Together they made their home in Minneapolis and raised eight children, four boys and four girls.
Pearl and Floyd had a passion for travel, often heading to Montana to visit friends, until Floyd passed away in 1987. She worked in the catalog department at Sears Roebuck from 1975-1990.
She had a love for family, playing Bingo and Keno, as well as cooking. Her passion was making the best frybread. Everyone loved it. She made it until her hands wouldn’t allow it, just a few years back.
She did not drive, traveling by bus and train. She kept her family strong through many losses. Her presence was always felt in the room.
Pearl touched the lives of so many along her day. She always remained humble and walks in beauty. She was loved and respected by all and will be remembered as a strong, loving mother, grandma, great-grandma, great-great-grandma and loving aunt.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, Sr.; parents, Clem and Jennie (Riggs) Bellanger; sons; Jeffrey and Benjamin Roberts, daughter; Marilyn Roberts, siblings, Eleanor Granle, Douglas Beaulieu, Dorothy White, Benjamin Bellanger, and Lorraine Mitchell; as well a granddaughter, Nina Roberts, whom she raised.
