Raymond George Smith, Jr.

Raymond George Smith, Jr. began his journey on April 12, 2026, from Sanford hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.  He was born on July 9, 1976, to Raymond Smith Sr. and Edith Bush in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Raymond enjoyed playing his games and being with his children and going for rides.

Raymond is greeted in the spirit world by his parents; Raymond Smith, Sr. and Edith Bush, brothers; Joe Smith and Allen Smith.

Those left behind to cherish his memories are his sons; Christopher Stately, Anthony Smith, Raymond Stately, and Duston Stately, brother; Michael Smith, Sr., grandchildren; Rhyleigh Rose Stately, and Jacob French.

A wake for Raymond will begin on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. and continue until the Traditional service on Tuesday, April 28 at 1:00 p.m., all to be held at the New Red Lake Community Center, Red Lake, MN.  Those helping to lay Raymond to rest are Dustin Stately, Raymond Stately, Christopher Stately, Anthony Smith, Ryan Smith, and Lawerance Lussier.  Alternate pallbearers will be Robert Lussier, Marybeth May, Michael Paul, Aaron Smith, Sr., Trevor Smith, and Aaron Smith, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Bealieau, Trever Smith, Michael Smith, Michael Paul, Aaron Smith, Jr., Miranda Smith, and Sue Graves.  Raymond will be interred at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Red Lake, MN.
