Rhonda Marlice (Fenley) Chalich

Rhonda Marlice (Fenley) Chalich, age 71, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. She was born on August 15, 1953, in New York, NY, the daughter of Melba (Lamb) and William Fenley.

Rhonda loved her dogs, her garden, and her flowers. She enjoyed reading, going to garage sales, and playing “Word Feud” online. She kept to herself, and a small circle. She was a hard worker, never afraid to be alone, very independent woman, who very much enjoyed her solitude. Rhonda was funny, easily making others laugh. She liked to cook, making a delicious lasagna, and try new recipes, which were always tested on the neighbor first.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents, Melba and William; sister, Claudia; and son, Steve Bauman.

Rhonda is survived by her two little dogs, Tizzle and Mo; son, Joe Bauman; daughter, Kelli (Mike) Nelson; 4 grandchildren, Warren, Hannah, Logan, Teagan; 2 great-grandchildren, Baker and Sullivan; special close friends, Luann Woods, Harriet Travis, and Gay Jacobson.

Per Rhonda’s wishes, no services are being planned.
