Robert Joseph Bueno Sr.

Robert Joseph Bueno Sr. was reunited with Robert Bueno Jr. on the morning of March 23, 2025, at the age of 61. Rob was born on August 12, 1963, to beloved Joe and Anita Bueno.

Robert was a strong hearted, thoughtful, passionate, loving man. Recently Rob became a man of (GGC) Gitchimanidoo, God, Creator. In his search he found comfort.  In changing he became wise, sacred, and an understanding man, that would pray for everyone in need or in tough times he would learn about.  

Rob would reminisce about all those throughout his life; he sought forgiveness and to forgive. He loved his hats and his pairs of glasses and always had a chain on, preferably Cuban link.  He loved every one of his kids, no matter how far. Father of 13 always kept them in his mind and his heart. He LOVED EACH ONE UNCONDITIONALLY!!

Those meeting Rob at the Golden Gates are Joe, Anita, Virginia, both grandparents, Michael, cousins Johnny and Amber, sons Migizi, and Rob Jr. and grandson baby Ricco.

Robert's memory will be forever cherished by sister, Annette; daughters, Christina, Ashley (Aaron), Selena, Natalie, and Teona; 3 honorary daughters, Jasmine, Mariah, and Aleyna; sons, Dallas, Levi and Arlen (Sage); grandchildren; Lillian, Jada, Aaron, Angelo, Donovan, Robert, Evelyn, Gustav; nieces, Amanda and Sophia; and nephew, Danny.

An overnight wake for Robert will begin at 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, and continue until his 10:00 a.m. service, Saturday, March 29, 2025, all to be held at the Onigum Center in Onigum, MN. Father Bill Butcher will officiate. Those helping to lay Rob to rest: Leech Lake pallbearers are Arlen Bueno, Mike Washington, Mike West, Nick, Frimark, Devry Smith, and Luke Smith.  
Fond du Lac pallbearers are Arlen Bueno, Aaron Castilleja, Paul Morales II, Cruz Whitebird, and Daniel McCarthy. Honorary pallbearers will be Vincent Raisch, and good friend Dallas.
Interment will be at Old Holy Cemetery in Cloquet, MN, leaving immediately following the service in Onigum.
