Robert James White, Sr.

Robert “Bob” James White, Sr. age 61 of Bemidji, MN started his spiritual journey on Saturday, November 13th, 2021, from Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. He was born in Cass Lake, MN on July 26, 1960, the son of Zora (Bird) and Donald White.

Bob met the love of his life, Kathy (Martin) in Walker, MN where they were later married in December 1982. Bob was always helping everyone out. He was kind, knowledgeable, and always laughing. He was an adventurous man and loved to travel. He liked Elvis, golf, going to Pow Wow’s and dancing, he enjoyed playing the flute, and making home videos. Bob loved to grill. He loved animals and working with animals. Bob was a wildland firefighter and helped with the Nasa space shuttle crash fire in Texas. He was a very talented man, enjoyed teaching and subbing at the local schools. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Those welcoming Bob to the spirit world are his parents, Zora and Donald White; all his grandparents; sisters, Louisa White and Sharon White; brothers, John White and Donald White, Jr.; nephew, Anthony Hare, Jr.; niece, Heather Kingbird; and brother in law, Guy Greene.

Those left behind to cherish Bob’s memory are his loving wife, Kathy White of Bemidji; son, Robert White, Jr. of Bemidji; daughters, Amanda (Benjamin) White of Indiana, and Nichole White of Bemidji; brother, Calvin White; sisters, April Greene, and Melody White; and 11 grandchildren.
