Robert “Bob” Alan Starr passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at the age of 52. He was born on November 29, 1970, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Loretta (Starr) and Leo “Butch” Shaddrick.
Bob loved life, he cared deeply, and was passionate about many things in life. Bob married his lifelong sweetheart, Sheri, in Lake Tahoe in 2000. He was an extravagant father to his sons, Andrew and TJ. Besides being an amazing husband and father, he was a wonderful grandpa. He had a love for hunting, fishing, riding motorcycle, and watching the MN Vikings kick ass!!! Among the years Bob met a lot of people who changed his life forever, those people became like family. He loved his job of bartending, being a social guy probably helped. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Butch and Loretta; sister, Angela Dahlen; and father-in-law, Martin Jancik.
Those left behind to forever cherish the memory of Bob are his loving wife, Sheri; sons, Andrew (Naomi) Starr and Theodore “TJ” white, Jr.; brother, Joe (Lori) Starr; 2 grandchildren, Karter Starr and Ka’ Aaliyah Schaaf-White; and numerous other family members.
A Celebration of Life for Bob will be from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Jerry’s Bar & Grill in Boy River, MN. Bob’s urn bearer is his wife, Sheri. Honorary urn bearers are Hope True, Travis Humphrey, Linda Monette, and Kevin McNearny. Bob’s final resting place will be with family.
