Roberta Ann Martin

Roberta Ann Martin, 55 years old, of Bemidji, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from Sanford Hospital in Bemidji, MN.  She was born to Carol Ann (Iceman) and Elmer Frank Martin on December 9, 1963 in Red Lake, MN.

Roberta enjoyed life every day.  She liked going to powwows and summer camps in the summers, she also enjoyed going to the movies, eating out and playing with her dolls.  She will be sadly missed by everyone who loved her.

Roberta is welcomed to the spirit world by her dad; Elmer Martin, grandparents; Robert and Alma Iceman and Frank and Dorothy Martin and several other relatives.

She is survived by her mother; Carol Martin, sisters; Karen (Dan) Martin and Tara (Randy) Kingbird, brothers; Kevin (Sandra) Martin and Gary (Glenda) Martin, Sr., numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and her friends.

A wake for Roberta will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 23rd and continue until her 11:00 a.m. traditional services on Monday, February 25th all to be held at the Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah, MN.  Allen Hardy will be her Spiritual Advisor.  Pallbearers for Roberta will be Jerrell Martin, Ervin Iceman, Jr., Darrell Iceman, Gary Martin, Jr., Kelly Iceman, Sr., Terry Iceman, Travis Martin and Gerald Stillday.  Alternate pallbearers are Alvie Stillday and Mike Iceman.  Her honorary pallbearers are Delmer Martin, Shena Martin and Kathleen Martin.  Interment will be in the Family Burial Grounds at Ponemah, MN following her Monday services.
