Ronald Vincent Johnson

Ronald Vincent Johnson passed way at his home at age 63, on November 21, 2025.  He was born may, 21, 1962 at Cass Lake IHS, Cass Lake, MN. to Geraldine (Johnson) Gale and Douglas Crandall.  Ron grew up in Brevik.

Ronald worked for the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwa as a TEP Supervisor.  He enjoyed netting fish and trapping and fixing things.  He truly enjoyed Thanksgiving, and spending time with family and friends. 

Ron was always up for a game of Yahtzee with his mom, daughter, and grandson.  He also enjoyed playing cribbage and singing.  Ron was always up to making new friends and visiting with everyone, he would help or do anything for anyone anytime.

Ronald is proceeded in death by his grandparents; Jerome and Daisy Johnson, parents; Geraldine Gale and Douglas Crandell, brothers; Alvin Gale, and Justin Johnson.

Those left behind to cherish Ronald’s memory are his daughter; Tracie Johnson, brother; Darrell Johnson Sr. grandson; Sergio Johnson, special auntie/sister Lorraine Johnson special friends; Susan Dahlberg, and his girlfriend Roxanne Reese.

A two-day wake for Ronald will be held at the Onigum Community Center, Onigum, MN. Beginning on December 7, 2025, at 4:00 P.M. continuing until December 9, 2025, with a Catholic Mass to be held on December 9, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edwards Catholic church, Longville, MN.

Those helping to lay Ron to rest are Walter Reese, Steve Johnson, Lance Anderson, Devin Johnson, James Johnson, Robert Johnson Jr. and Sergio Johnson.

Ronald will be going home after cremation with his daughter Tracie Johnson
