Ronald “Ron” Howard Berry age 68, of Bemidji, MN passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2025, from Sanford in Bemidji, MN, surrounded by his loving family. Ron was born to Howard and Anna (Rife) Berry on October 25, 1956, in Iowa City, IA. He was raised in Springdale, IA.
After high school Ron joined the United States Navy. After leaving the Navy he married the love of his life, Virginia Kilde. They owned two businesses in Springdale, Springdale Salvage, and Tiny’s Bargain Bizarre. After leaving those businesses he became a long-haul truck driver.
In 1987 Ron and Virginia moved to Bemidji, MN where they made their home to this day. Ron was a gifted mechanic. If it was broken, he could fix it. He had a real love for junk. He enjoyed his NASCAR and racing lawn mowers.
Ron is greeted in his Heavenly home by his parents, Howard and Anna Berry; and brother, Danny Berry.
Those left behind to cherish Ron’s memories are his loving wife, Virginia Berry; sisters, Nancy (Kenneth) Riley and Pamela (Rob) Kilde; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held on June 28, 2025, at Marilyn Kilde's residence 6727 Alpine RD. NW. Bemidji, MN, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. And August 9, 2025 Sallisburg Park, Muscatine, IA.
