Rose Marie Wind

Rose Marie Wind, 29 years young, “Nudin Equay” which means “Wind Woman”, of Cass Lake, Minnesota started her journey from her home where she lived with her babies on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

Rose was born in Bemidji, MN to Toni Littlewolf and George Wind, Jr. on August 4, 1992, but owned her house and land in Cass Lake, MN where she lived her whole life.  She attended Youth Build for a year and did carpentry.  Rose was also attending school to obtain her G.E.D.  She really enjoyed being with her kids and loved being around family.  Rose could always put a smile on your face and was always laughing and joking around with everyone.  She was a work hard, play hard Mama who always spoke her mind.

She leaves behind her five beautiful children, Simon III, Aaliyah, Niibin, Lissy and Addaakin; her significant other, Anthony Lee; her mother, Toni Littlewolf; her father, George Wind, Jr.; grandparents, Phyllis (Jimmy) Day; stepfather, Brian White, Sr.; siblings, Nicholas (Allene Harrison) Littlewolf, Brian White, Jr., Matthew Littlewolf, Tiffany Littlewolf, Alissa (Giizis Roberts) Wind, Kierra (Avery Cadwell) White, and Danielle (Aaron Smith) Wind; uncle, James (Kathy) Littlewolf, Jr., father of her children, Simon Roybal, Jr., numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and too many friends to name.

Family that Rose is reunited with are her grandma and name’s sake, Rose Wind; grandpas, George Wind, Sr. and James Littlewolf, Sr.; brothers, Michael Johnson, Jayden and Jordan White; and her sister, Niibin Sky Littlewolf; and auntie, Tina Gale.

Wake services for Rose will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 8th and continue until her 1:00 p.m. traditional service on Wednesday, August 10th all to be held at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Cass Lake, MN.  Allen Hardy will be her Spiritual Advisor. Pallbearers for Rose will be Nick Littlewolf, Matthew Littlewolf, Brian White, Jr., James Littlewolf, Jr., Anthony Lee, and George Wind, Jr.  Alternate pallbearer is Niiko Wind and Richard Littlewolf.  Her honorary pallbearers are Kierra White, Alissa Wind, Danielle Wind, Tiarra Hunt, Kathy Littlewolf, Brittany Adams, Breanna Littlewolf, and Allene Harrison.  Rose will be laid to rest next to her brother in the Northern Gospel Mission Cemetery at Cass Lake, MN following her Wednesday services.
