Shane Eugene Sautbine

Shane Eugene Sautbine, 51 years young of Walker, MN passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021, from Essentia Health in Fargo, ND. He was born in Stillwater, MN on November 8, 1970, the son of Jennifer (Clark) and Ronnie Sautbine.

Shane was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt, fish, canoe/kayak, hike, camp, and generally be outdoors. He was a loving father and grandfather, he was so proud of that, and his boys and grandson. He loved to play music, a man of many instrumental talents, jam by the fire with friends, sing and enjoy a cold one. He made his own brick oven and the best pizzas that one would ever enjoy. Shane was a great friend, would help you with anything. He was an amazing, knowledgeable, and kindhearted soul. He could tell the funniest dirty jokes around and have everyone laughing in seconds. His voice could light up the room, he was always so happy. He was a great listener and giver of advice. He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

Shane is preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Sautbine; grandparents Marshall and Alice Sautbine; uncles, Charles Sautbine, Richard Sautbine, Melvin Sautbine; aunt, Diane Lang; and a few close friends.  

Those left behind to cherish the memory of Shane are his sons, Bodhi (Holley) Sautbine and Keen Sautbine of Walker, MN; grandson, Oliver Sautbine of Walker; mom, Jennifer Clark; sister, Rani Clark; uncles, Donald “Butch” (Holli) Sautbine and Tom Sautbine; aunts, Darlene Erickson, Phyllis Chalich, and Mary Kaiser; ex-wife and mother of his children, Yma Sautbine; and numerous other family and friends.

A celebration of life for Shane is being held Saturday, December 18, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Senior Center at 508 8th street Walker, MN.
