Shelley Lee (Thompson) Queenan

Shelley Lee Queenan (Thompson) age 59 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening December 3, 2023, at her home in Menahga, MN. Shelley was born on March 12, 1964, in Madison, MN to Leroy & Leone Thompson.

Shelley grew up in North Minneapolis and was a proud graduate of Patrick Henry High School in 1982. Throughout school, she enjoyed gymnastics, swimming, diving, and basketball. Shelley's bright and beautiful smile, sense of humor and distinctive laugh will always be remembered. She was a very loving and caring person. She was always willing to help anyone without question or hesitation. It brightened her day to make someone smile! She was very dedicated and one of the hardest workers in the world. Anything she did in her life, she did it with her whole heart. She was very loyal and dependable. The ROCK of our family.

 Shelley is survived by her Husband, Ron Queenan; sons, Anthony Thompson and Dylan Queenan; daughter, Jaimie (Steve) Thompson; grandchildren, Caylee, Josh and Jenna; mother, Leone (Wes) McDaniel; brother, Brian (Paula) Thompson; sister, Sheila (Jerry) Pudlick; sister-in-law, Michele (Dan) Queenan; brother-in-law, Dan (Maria) Queenan; mother-in-Law, Kaye Queenan; many close friends and family.

Shelley is preceded in death by her stepfather, Dillard Hehr; father-in-law, Ronald Queenan, Sr.; sister, LeAnn Gourneau; niece also Goddaughter, Jessica Pudlick; fur baby, Rocky; and father, Elroy Thompson.

A service for Shelley will be held at Northern Peace Funeral Home in Walker, MN on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
