Tina Marie Headbird

Tina Marie Headbird, age 58, of Cass Lake, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Saturday, January 25th, 2020 from the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.  She was born to Helen (Losh) and Emmanuel Headbird, Sr. on January 21st, 1962 in Cass Lake, MN.

Tina grew up and attended the Cass Lake/Bena Schools.  She graduated from Cass Lake/Bena High School and went on to college.  Tina liked going to the casino, reading and watching supernatural and paranormal television programs.  She enjoyed cooking but her most favorite thing to do was spending time with all her grandkids.  Tina will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is reunited with her parents Helen and Emmanuel; siblings, Randy, Emmanuel II, Gary, Darryl, Thomas and Bert Headbird and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Those she leaves behind are her life long significant other Francis “Cowboy” Wind; children, Michael “Arn” Headbird, Tommi Sue (Paul) Lindgren, Franklin (Alecia) Wind, Chavez Wind and Stevie (Robert) Thunderhawk; siblings, Wanda (Bill) Croaker, Nancy (Barney) Kingbird and Susan (Charles) Headbird; her grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

A wake for Tina will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 29th and continue until her 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, January 31st all being held the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Cass Lake, MN.  Father George Ross will officiate.  Pallbearers for Tina will be William “Punk” Croaker II, Emmanuel “Twidds” Headbird III, Bradley Croaker, Jordan Headbird, Robert Thunderhawk, Sr., Kenneth “Todd” Rodriguez II, James Baird and Thomas Headbird, Jr.  Her honorary pallbearers are Christopher Headbird, Randolph Headbird, Charles Huesers and Jon “Rabbit” Schneider.  Interment will be in Prince of Peace Cemetery at Mission/Cass Lake, MN following her Friday services.
