Tyler Migizi Wind

Tyler Migizi Wind, age 26, of Bemidji, MN began his spiritual journey on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at his home in Bemidji.  He was born on December 3, 1996, in Bemidji, MN, the son of Matthew Boswell and Angela Wind.

Tyler was the best father who always worked hard and provided for his family.  He loved not only his children, but also his niece and nephew that he and Alyssa took in never picking favorites.  He treated all the kids as though they were his own and provided for them.  He enjoyed his time with them, often dancing and laughing.  Tyler was always a positive person and the life of the party.  He picked everyone up and took care of them, often putting them before himself.  He was a true man with true beliefs.  Tyler was passionate about all his family members including his aunties and uncles and had a great love for all.  He liked working on cars and fixing things that came his way.  When it came to providing for his family, Tyler would work overtime and was very proud of his credit score, owning his own car and the successful direction that he and Alyssa were headed.  One of the only rewards he would treat himself to was haircuts once a week.  The whole family was proud of Tyler, especially his mother in-law Lisa who took Tyler under her wing and helped him through some difficult times.  Tyler, his love, and his beautiful personality will be missed by all his family and friends.

The family that Tyler joins again are his mother; Angela Wind, grandparents; Ronald Wind, Sr. and Judy Triska, little brother; Teric Wind and an infant son that he’s meeting for the first time and other relatives.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his father; Matthew Boswell of Bemidji, wife; Alyssa Hill of Bemidji, his girls; Aliyana, Kaeli, Annalea, Kaylani and Armani Wind, also one on the way, siblings; Khyra Boswell of Minneapolis, Tailyn (Brandon) Wind and Tericho Wind both of Bemidji, mother in-law; Lisa (Andy Johnson) Drift of Bemidji, sister in-law; Tiffany (Jay Burns) Hill of Bemidji, brother in-law; Gordon Hill of Minneapolis, and father in-law; Tom Hill of White Earth, aunties; Crystal (TK Wind) and Leslie Graves, uncles; Ronald (Diana) Wind, Sr. and Tony (Deana McDaniel) Wind, other relatives and many friends.

A wake for Tyler will begin at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, and will continue until the traditional service at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 4th, 2023, all held at the Mission Community Center in Cass Lake.  Spiritual advisor will be Melvin Goodman.  Active pallbearers will be Kyle Wind, Austin Swanholm, Shane Swanholm, James Jones, David Jackson, and Miguel Kangas.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Wind, Ron Wind, Jr., Crystal Wind, Tom Hill, Gordon Hill, TK Wind, Terico Wind, Keifer Graves, Richard Mix, Paul Mix and Jay Burns.
