Wesley Roman White

Wesley Roman White, 20 of Red Lake, MN, passed away at Red Lake IHS on September 20, 2023. He was born in Bemidji, MN, on April 29, 2003, to Carlene Sigana and Roy White, Sr. and raised in Red Lake.

Wesley enjoyed hanging out and smoking weed. After his first big win at the Casino, he was hooked and enjoyed going back.  Wesley enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cruising around listening to music with the guys. You could find Wesley shooting his guns whenever he got a chance and playing X box all night long when he could get by with it. Wesley’s most enjoyable times were spent with his daughter. He loved to wrestle with his sisters, nieces, nephews, but especially his brother, Kato and niece, Rylee.

Wesley is proceeded in death by his grandpa Clarence Hanson, Jr.; great-grandparents, Roman and Mary Jane Sigana, and Carol White; aunties, Carol Sigana, Mona Sigana, Wanda Pierre, and Luann Sigana; uncles, Blaine White and Darrell Sigana; and friend, Delton May.

Those left behind to cherish Wesley’s memory are his mom, Carlene (David) Sigana; dad, Roy (Tawn) White Sr.; the love of his life, Hailey Johns, daughter, Laniyah White; brothers, Roy White, Jr., and Kato Bowen; sisters, Cassidy White, Kenleigh Bowen, and Avrianna White; nieces, Rylee Greene, and Jaycee Needham; nephews, Roy White III and Roman White; grandparents, Cora Sigana, Peggy Kingbird, and John Kingbird.

A two-day wake for Wesley will begin on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. and continue until his funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, all taking place at the New Red Lake Community Center.  Those helping lay Wesley to rest are Jerrell Schoenborn, Santee Howard, Haydon Spears, James Cobenais, Jr., Dyllon Johns, and Tyrell Schoenborn.  Alternates are JR. Waybenais, Evan Graves, Blaine White II, Desmond Sigana, Tyrese Desjarlait, and Dave Dudley Sr.  Honorary pallbearers are all his family and friends.  Interment will be after the service at the Mansion in Red Lake, MN.
