William "Billy" Ivan Pierce

William “Billy” Ivan Pierce, age 57, of Walker, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Mayo Clinic Hospital St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN, on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023. He was born on February 16, 1966, in Bay St. Louis, MS, the son of Betty Lou (Peters) and William Adrian Pierce.

Billy graduated from Laporte High School in 1985. He traveled around some before landing back in the area. Billy loved being outside in nature, camping, and traveling. He loved his job, a security guard at Northern Lights Casino, and his coworkers, he wasn’t one to hang out after shift, Billy was no gambler. He enjoyed playing video games and Dungeon’s and Dragons. He loved spending time with his niece and nephews. He was an excellent cook and liked his coffee strong. Billy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Betty Lou and William A. Pierce; aunts, Arelene Peters and Lois Pierce; and uncle, Bob Pierce.

Billy is survived by his brothers, Mike and Patrick Pierce; sister, Pamela (Gene) Caddy; niece, Jasmine Pierce Troxel; and nephews, Thomas, Jacob, and Jonathan Caddy, Blake and Dakota Pierce Troxel.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation at 1:00 p.m., all to be held at Northern Peace Funeral Home in Walker, MN. Billy’s urn bearers are his siblings, Mike Pierce, Patrick Pierce, and Pamela Caddy. Billy’s honorary urn bearers are the Security Staff at Northern Lights Casino. Billy’s final r will be home with family.
