Winona “Noni” Sue Johnson, “Migizi-Ikwe” meaning “Eagle Woman” age 61, of the Eagle Clan started her spiritual journey on Friday, February 7, 2025, from Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN. She was born on November 1, 1963, in Red Lake, MN, the daughter of Roseadelle (Fairbanks) and Dellis Johnson.
Noni had her priorities straight, with FAMILY as her #1 priority. She loves spending time with her children and her grandchildren, family gatherings were always being planned. She loved to cook and put her whole heart into everything that came out of her kitchen for her family and friends. Noni enjoyed gardening and camping. She was very humorous, giving everyone a special nickname. Noni was an avid country music listener and looked forward to going to WeFest every August. She was a strong, independent, family-oriented woman with so much love in her heart. In her early adult years, Noni worked as a blackjack dealer and a pit boss before attending college. She then went on to work at Family Children Services before starting her career as a medical coder for IHS. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
