Zhacharya Migizi Kingbird, Jr.

Baby Zhacharya Migizi Kingbird, Jr., 6 weeks young, of the Eagle Clan, unexpectedly journeyed to the spirit world on Monday, June 3rd, 2024, from his home in Bena, MN. He was born on April 18th, 2024, in Bemidji, MN, the son of Shoshana Olson and Zacharya Kingbird, Sr.

Zhacharya was a very happy baby who smiled a lot, laughed in his sleep, and just started “cooing.” He loved to be held in his mommas’ arms and watched daddy wherever he went. He liked it when sister, “Nyxi” would hold him too. Zhacharya enjoyed laying on mommas’ chest. He loved family and their voices; his eyes would follow and watch who and where the voices were coming from.

Greeting Baby Zhacharya in the spirit world are his grandpa, Ronald Lanham; and great-grandma, Diane Kingbird.

Those Zhacharya leaves behind to forever cherish his sweet loving memory are his parents, Shoshana Olson and Zhacharya Kingbird, Sr.; big brothers, Kenneth Bosto and Ernest Wayne Declusion III (Nindozhig); big sisters, Te’Arra Mae Littlewolf, Diamond Kingbird, Jayanna Littlewolf, Nyxaveriah “Nyxi” Kingbird, and Kaylanni Kingbird; grandparents, Jay and Anna Janette Saros, Cherie Olson, and Dennis Harrison; great-grandpa, Wayne Kingbird; aunties, Daisy Olson and Keriann Kingbird; uncles, Valerian, Vaundell, Vincent, and Randall Kingbird.

An overnight wake for Zhacharya will begin on Thursday, June 6th, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. and continue until his traditional service on Friday, June 7th, 2024, at 11:00 a,m., all to be held at the Inger Community Center in INger, MN. Zhacharya’s Spiritual Advisor will be Jason Saros. Those helping to lay Zhacharya to rest are Shoshana, Zhacharya, Sr., and Valerian Kingbird. Honorary pallbearers are all Zhacharya’s family. Interment will be in the Inger Cemetery in Inger, MN.
