Frances “Pat” Eula Oslin, age 82, of Walker, MN, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at May Creek Assisted Living in Walker.  Pat was born on July 11, 1934 in Walker the daughter of Frank and Ruth (Cotant) Clyde.

Pat grew up in Laporte and graduated from high school in 1952.  Following graduation she met Byke Oslin and the two were married at the Community Baptist Church in Laporte on September 4, 1954.  Pat and Byke lived in different areas of Minnesota before settling in Laporte.  They were blessed with two adopted sons.  Pat enjoyed going to school functions and games.  She attended the Christ Gospel Church in Laporte and loved being involved with the church functions.  Pat enjoyed taking walks in the woods, listening to music, and sharing good memories with her family and friends.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

The family that Pat joins again are her husband; Byke, her parents; Frank and Ruth, siblings; Olive Troxel, Harley Clyde, Glen Clyde, and Alice Oslin.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are sons; Chris Oslin and Terry (Fiance’ Lori Lindberg) Oslin, brother; Ray (Jackie) Clyde, sister; Ruth Albrecht, granddaughter; Alison Oslin, sister in-law Doris Clyde, brother in-law Gordon Oslin, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 with visitation held one hour prior to the service at the Laporte Community Bible Church in Laporte, MN.  Pastor Rick Clyde of Christ Gospel Church will officiate.  Inurnment will be held in the Lakeport Cemetery in Laporte following the luncheon at the church.  Our family would like to thank the wonderful people at May Creek Lodge of Walker and the special workers of the St. Joseph’s Hospice from Park Rapids for the compassion and care they gave to Pat.
