Read Bob's obituary in the Green Bay Press Gazette and wanted to wish your family the best - Know that Bob enjoyed his retirement and the time he spend with the family. Worked with Bob for many years at the Job Service and remember him fondly.

Hi Sonja,
I just read Bob's obituary in the Green Bay Press Gazette. Suzanne and I send our love and prayers to you and your families. I especially loved that you are going to celebrate his life at this significant time in your lives. What a positive and thoroughly wonderful expression of your faith, which you shared together.
Suzanne and I have thought of you two often, especially around Christmas; we are still making lefse. I am sure that music will be a significant part of the celebration of Bob's life, as music was certainly part of his life, the singing at Christmas, the trips to St Norbert's music offerings with the DeGroots and the men's choir Bob sang in for a time. We will also remember with fondness his sense of humor.
I am sure you will be offered many passages from scripture for comfort and hope, but I am boldly going to offer one for those times that may be a little difficult, Psalm 121.
God's blessings on you and your families; take of yourself and of one another. If you ever decide to come back to Green Bay for a visit, please, let us know as we would love to see you. If you need a place to stay, we would be glad to offer our humble accommodations.
